River City Raqs is North East Florida’s annual celebration of belly dance — and you’re invited!

Our viibrant weekender brings together passionate dancers, inspiring instructors, and captivating performers from our local community, across the country, and around the world.

Hosted by the warm and welcoming staff and students of Anais Belly Dance Studio in Jacksonville, River City Raqs is all about connection, creativity, and celebrating the beautiful diversity of belly dance.

Whether you’re brand new to belly dance or a seasoned performer, you’ll find workshops designed to uplift and inspire you. Each day begins with complimentary warm-up sessions, and every evening offers fun after-hours events where friendships are formed and the dancing continues.

Friday night we feature a welcome Pro-Am welcome show to kick off the weekend in a supportive space to share your artistry and cheer one another on.

Saturday's Gala Show brings unforgettable performances by our instructors and featured guest artists.
